Concord Rusam is currently seeking a preferably licensed Sterile Processing Technician Program Instructor to teach the Sterile Processing Technician course.
Qualifications:
- Certified Classroom teaching experience.
- Current Teacher Certificate (preferred).
- Work Authorization.
- At least three years of experience in Central Sterile Processing.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills are necessary for positive interactions. with students, faculty, and employers.
- Proven written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- English/Russian Bilingual is a must.
Responsibilities
- The Concord Rusam Sterile Processing Technician Program Instructor is responsible for conducting in-class and online lessons, directing, evaluating, and reporting student progress towards course objectives, and for the periodic review and updating of course material.
- Correspond with students and respond to their inquiries regarding the classes and curriculum.
- Teaches the depth and scope of class materials as outlined in the syllabus and relates the instruction to career and employer expectations.
- The role may also require participation in curriculum design, including development and revision, and in the development of any supplemental learning resources.
- Accurately maintains attendance records in accordance with the Attendance Policy, and shares pertinent information with the Program Director.
- Possess a credential in the field of central service or sterile processing technician through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or has a current CRCST Certified Registered Central Service Technician credential issued by the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM).
- Actively engage in retention activities including documented communication with both students and administration regarding attendance and progress.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, and communicates effectively with other staff members.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
