Responsibilities
- Initiates pages and emergency codes.
- Handles all incoming calls and inquiries on the switchboard and answering service.
- Calls are processed within departmental guidelines.
- Utilizes Call Center software, hardware and other hospital resources.
- Completes Release Of Information Requests After Hours.
- Enters and updates data in the On Call schedule accurately to promote quality patient care.
- Accesses the Electronic Medical Record to communicate patient appointments.
- Acts as the Resource Person on specified shift.
- Performs Daily Duties as assigned.
