Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented Administrative Assistant to support accounting, HR, and timekeeping functions in a rural nursing home environment. This position requires accuracy, organization, professionalism, and strong customer service skills. Training is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Credit card reconciliation and statement review
• Receipt tracking, organization, and documentation
• Administrative support for Human Resources (HR paperwork, employee files, onboarding support)
• Timekeeping and payroll support (reviewing timesheets and entries for accuracy)
• Data entry and record maintenance
• Professional interaction with residents’ families, staff, and vendors
• Maintain confidentiality of employee, financial, and facility records
• General office and administrative duties as assigned

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Organized, reliable, and accurate
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, timekeeping systems)
• Ability to handle confidential information

Preferred

• Administrative, clerical, HR, payroll, or bookkeeping experience
• Healthcare or nursing home experience
• Familiarity with timekeeping or payroll systems
