What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant position at Concord Health Systems?
- Organizing and working with the care team of staff, family, residents and volunteers;
- Assessing the individual interests of each resident upon admission and periodically thereafter;
- Documenting accurately as required within the KAR and KRS statutes;
- Assisting in public relations as needed;
- Assist the Activity Coordinator with the organizing, planning, and implementing individual and group activities both within the facility and in the community as identified by the residents and their families to include, but not be limited to: church services; outings; games; parties; holiday celebrations; and may fill in for the Activities Coordinator as needed
Dispersing the calendar of events, newsletters, and other information for distribution to each resident, their family, staff, and volunteers.
Conduct and lead daily activities; charting each residents' responsiveness to the activity (refusal, participated, observed, etc.)
- Be willing to become certified as a Paid Feeding Assistant and serve as a Temporary Nurse Aide as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
