Green Acres Healthcare is seeking an Activity Assistant!
Shift type: Full Time|10:00 am - 6:30 pm
Green Acres Healthcare is currently seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Activity Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll work closely with residents, families, and staff to create a welcoming environment and activity programming.
While a CNA certification is preferred. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to make a positive impact in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
Participate in and assist with resident activity programs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
Support residents during dinner service around 4:30 pm and assist with evening care routines, including helping residents settle in comfortably for the night.
Qualifications
CNA certification required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and manage front desk responsibilities independently.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) is a plus.
High school diploma or GED required (or equivalent related work experience).
Comfortable working with individuals who have cognitive, physical, or sensory impairments.
