What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Lifeguard position at Concord Country Club?
Position Overview:
Concord Country Club is seeking responsible and attentive Lifeguards to join our Aquatics team for the 2026 summer season. Lifeguards play a critical role in ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable pool environment for our members and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool activity to ensure the safety of all members and guests
- Enforce pool rules and respond to emergencies as needed
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Provide a friendly, professional presence and excellent member service
Qualifications:
- Current Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross or equivalent) required
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification required
- Strong awareness, attentiveness, and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred (but not required):
- Prior lifeguarding experience
- Experience working in a private club or similar hospitality environment
Schedule:
- Flexible hours including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Seasonal position running approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day
