Custodian (2nd Shift) - 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Must have valid Drivers License.

We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible Custodian for our 2nd shift position from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The primary responsibilities of the Custodian will include cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas. The Custodian will also be responsible for emptying trash cans, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and ensuring that all cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available.

Additional duties may include minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues, and reporting any larger maintenance concerns to the appropriate supervisor. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or custodial work, as well as a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Working Conditions:

The duties of this position are performed in an educational environment. Persons are required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, and lift and manipulate objects up to 50 pounds without restrictions up to 125 pounds. Persons are required to use hands and fingers to grasp and manipulate tools and controls, reach objects above the head with arms and hands, climb ladders, push and pull equipment, and move furniture. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distant vision, and depth perception. Noise levels in the working environments may be moderately loud or loud. Occasionally, persons are required to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
