Job Summary
We are seeking a part time, 3 pm - 11:30 pm, dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Conduct janitorial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks, including the use of specialized equipment for larger areas.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management promptly.
- Carry out porter duties as required, including moving furniture or equipment for events or maintenance purposes.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly and maintained in good working order.
Experience
- Previous custodial experience is preferred, with a strong background in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
