Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Traveling Superintendent role based out of Alpharetta, GA, requiring frequent travel to project locations. The Traveling Superintendent oversees daily field operations, including scheduling and coordinating subcontractors, managing site activities, and ensuring work complies with plans, specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, conducting site inspections, maintaining quality control, and promptly addressing issues that may affect schedule or budget. The role involves leading on-site meetings, communicating with project managers, owners, and vendors, and keeping accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation. The superintendent is expected to enforce safety protocols, support site logistics, and represent Concord professionally while maintaining productive relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site construction leadership skills, including supervision of subcontractors, coordination of multiple trades, and management of day-to-day field operations.
- Experience in commercial and/or hospitality construction, with the ability to work effectively in occupied or active environments.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, including plans, specifications, and schedules, and applying them in the field.
- Solid understanding of construction safety practices, codes, and regulations, with a record of maintaining safe job sites.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project managers, clients, inspectors, and trade partners.
