As a Staff Accountant, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day.

You’ll be a key contributor to the accounting function, ensuring the Company’s financial health is accurately represented and well-managed. By combining technical expertise, relevant experiences, and attention to detail, this position will play a vital role in safeguarding financial integrity, supporting compliance, and enabling the leadership to make informed strategic decisions.
This position is located at our Beaverton, OR office and has a hybrid schedule. We’re onsite Monday through Wednesday.

Responsibilities
As our Staff Accountant, you will:
- Be heavily involved in the month-end close for multiple entities
- Manage the general ledger to ensure the recording of financial transactions
- Prepare journal entries
- Reconcile accounts
- Be a backup for other Team Members

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
- CPA or pursuing a CPA certification
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a combination of public accounting and the private sector
- Proven experience in general ledger: strong experience in preparing and managing general ledger entries, monthly closings, and account reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze financial data, identify trends, and identify accounting issues
- Attention to details
- Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks
- Communication skills to be able to work with other departments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure during the month-end close
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in preparing financial reports
- Experience working in taxes or willing to learn corporate tax matters
- Experience in financial services, finance, or banking industries
- Proficiency in NetSuite and financial reporting tools and aptitude for technology
