Alisos Animal Hospital is a privately owned, small animal practice in Mission Viejo, CA. We're looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about animal care and ready to take the next step in their veterinary journey.

You'll be joining a supportive, experienced team in a busy practice that values professionalism, compassion, and a strong team ethic.

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with safe and effective patient restraint

• Prepare and clean exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suite

• Sterilize, organize, and maintain medical and surgical equipment

• Collect, label, and handle lab samples accurately

• Support patient intake, discharge, and ensure accurate medical records

• Provide occasional front desk and client service support

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work environment

• At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary or animal care setting

• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude

• High attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to providing compassionate, efficient patient care
