Event Coordinator
We are seeking a responsible, proactive Event Coordinator to assist with a classical /Jazz music concert. This role requires someone who can self-manage, take initiative, and represent our brand with professionalism and warmth.
We have six concerts coming up in 2026 that we need to this position for, potentially more could be added.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the concert space is fully prepared prior to audience arrival (seating, stage, signage, front-of-house readiness).
- Restore the venue to its original condition after the event.
- Be the contact point with the venue staff onsite, the artist(s) and the front-of-house staff.
- Lead the front-of-house team, making sure they have their tasks clear for the event.
- Act as timekeeper to ensure the concert begins and ends on schedule.
- Familiarize yourself with the facility upon arrival (emergency exits, restrooms, accessibility access points, venue protocols).
- Assist with lighting adjustments where required (e.g., dimming lights at start, restoring after performance).
- Support front-of-house operations, including:
- Checking tickets
- Welcoming guests
- Assisting ushers
- Minimizing disruptions during the performance
- Serve as a professional and personable ambassador for the Concerts in America brand.
Candidate Profile
- Highly responsible and dependable
- Proactive and able to anticipate needs
- Comfortable working independently
- Calm and solution-oriented under pressure
- Friendly, approachable, and professional in all interactions
- Strong communication skills
Experience in live events, concerts, or venue operations is essential.
