Role Description
The Youth Worker 2 will work on-site in Coatesville, PA, supporting and mentoring youth through direct interaction and group activities. Key responsibilities include implementing structured programs, providing guidance and support, and assisting youth in building positive relationships. The Youth Worker will also collaborate with other professionals to address individual needs and foster a safe and nurturing environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in Youth Work, Youth Services, and Youth Mentoring
- Background in Social Work and supporting diverse youth populations prefered.
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to engage and build rapport with youth and maintain effective professional relationships
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to create a positive and supportive environment for youth
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- Ability to manage on-site responsibilities and provide hands-on support
- Prior experience working in a residential or community-based youth program is a plus
