  • Title: Medication Manager, SP-SRO
  • Location: Medford, NY
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm
  • Salary: $55,000 annually

Position Summary: Medication Manager oversees and monitors all aspects of medication administration and education for clients residing at the SP-SRO (Single Room Occupancy) program.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor client medications for individuals identified as needing medication support within the SP-SRO program.
  • Assess clients needs to determine frequency of medication monitoring and assist clients in developing independence with medication self-administration.
  • Maintain accurate medication sheets and perform medication counts (daily for controlled substances, weekly for all others).
  • Report discrepancies immediately to the Director and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Order and verify medications, ensuring all orders are received, accurate, and stored properly.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on medication policies, storage, and procedures to ensure agency-wide compliance.
  • Facilitate communication between treatment providers regarding client medication regimens and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation, or a related mental health discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals with psychiatric or behavioral health needs.
  • Strong understanding of psychotropic medications and medication management procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
