Location: Traverse City, MI
Job Type: PRN / Per Diem
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our therapy team on a PRN basis. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients improve independence, functional mobility, and performance of daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities and functional skill development
- Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising OT
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals
- Follow all applicable clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Michigan COTA/OTA license
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings preferred
