Job Summary
The Chiropractic Assistant will provide services to service members in an outpatient setting to support the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, CA.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Core Duties:
- Prepare treatment areas for incoming patients.
- Administer complex, specialized supportive physiotherapy treatment in areas such as ultrasound, electrotherapy, and therapeutic hot/cold and therapeutic exercise in support of chiropractic treatments in the clinic in a safe and medically accepted manner as directed by the supervisor.
- Instruct and supervise patient during their exercise programs.
- Report unusual patient treatment response or hazardous or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor immediately.
- Documents patient history, reported subjective symptoms, care interventions provided, response to interventions, observations, and patient education in the electronic health record as directed by the provider and according to established protocols. Reports any abnormalities to the provider immediately.
Job Requirements:
Education and/or Experience
Degree:
Certificate - attend a formal training program as a chiropractic assistant, nursing assistant, physical therapy assistant, operating room technician or other similar medically related support type occupation.
Licensure:
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a chiropractic assistant.
Experience:
One year of experience as a Chiropractic Assistant, or similar position, after graduation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must be a US Citizen and have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
