We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine PET Technician for a contract, on-site role based in Palm Springs, CA. The technician will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, conducting nuclear imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining radiation safety standards. Additional responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, collaborating with healthcare providers for diagnostic purposes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including credentials such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Strong knowledge and application of Radiation Safety protocols and procedures
- Proficiency in handling Radiopharmaceuticals and conducting Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Experience in medical imaging and understanding of diagnostic techniques in medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care and team collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or a relevant field preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work on-site in Palm Springs, CA
