Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting construction materials to various residential new construction job sites. This role requires attention to detail, physical fitness in that heavy lifting is required and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. Candidates will be required to have a clean driving record of at least three years. The Paint Product Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining critical production schedules in the residential construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secure during transport.
- Drive a delivery van or truck along designated routes to deliver products to customers.
- Upload photos of the delivered materials into the company Google Drive
- Maintain positive professional relationships with co-workers. Communicate well with managers.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including moving items and operating forklifts as needed.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with company leadership, with positive energy.
- Ability to navigate routes effectively using maps or GPS systems.
- Experience with load unloading procedures and warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of forklift operation is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods during loading/unloading tasks.
