Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will handle AP functions, ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments, while supporting overall financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP) duties:
- Process and code vendor invoices, matching them with purchase orders and supporting documents
- Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or wire transfers
- Reconcile credit card and bank statements
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Maintain vendor files and records, including gathering W9s and other documentation
- Assist with month-end closing activities
Shared and Administrative duties:
- Enter financial data into the company's accounting system
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in AP or accounting roles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, or Exact Online
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Manufacturing and cost accounting experience
- Experience in managing foreign exchange transactions and reporting
Salary Range 60,000 - 70,000 Based on experience. 10 PTO Days 14 Federal Holidays
