Job Description
Description
The Federal Financial Specialist will serve as a member of the Functional Team and will primarily support the project's Asset Management/Data Management efforts. The Team member will be required to gain a working knowledge of Finance Business Processes, Asset Management, Data Management/Normalization, Internal Controls, and Financial Management in support of our client’s efforts to produce auditable Financial Statements. Analysts will also have administrative reporting responsibilities, maintain databases, metrics, and conduct data entry.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirment
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in one of more of the following capabilities: Financial Management; Process Design/Re-engineering; Audit/Internal Control Testing; Financial Reporting; Asset Management; ERP/Information System Analysis & Implementation
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office
Prefered Requirement
- Financial Management
- Data Management/Normalization/Reconciliation
- Systems Implementation
- ERP/Information System Analysis
- Asset Management
- Knowledge of Federal Accounting concepts and requirements
- Federal Government Accounting and/or Auditing experience
- Understanding of the DoD's financial environment and operations
- CPA, CGFM, or CDFM are a plus
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and motivated
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
