Job Details
Comtech is seeking a Azure Architect to guide the agency on cloud architecture, security, and migration strategies, including lift-and-shift and cloud-native refactoring. They will design and test Azure solutions (including MVPs), recommend modernization approaches, configure Azure services to meet agency objectives, and work with COV/MSI offerings. The role requires signing an NDA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Azure Architect will be advising agencies on architecture and security concerns associated with Azure including in-place migrations/refactoring.
- Architects will need to make recommendations on lift and shift and on-premise to cloud native migrations.
- Architects will need to make recommendations with refactoring within the Azure environment.
- Architects will need to conduct testing within Azure to show minimal viable product of an architecture.
- Architects will need to understand available offerings from COV, MSI and other connected parties.
- Architects will make configurations to Azure in support of agency-level objectives. Configurations will be primarily to Azure-based services.
- Architects will need to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements.
