Duration: 12 months (possible contract-to-hire)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (onsite)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant II to support FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Electric Company. This role requires strong administrative skills, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, documentation, and handling calls/emails
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel
- Process invoices and support department reporting
- Create and update spreadsheets, presentations, and documents using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external teams
- Handle confidential information with professionalism
- Support teams by ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations
Requirements:
- 3–10 years of administrative/office support experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be local and able to work onsite Monday–Friday
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Must pass the EEI SASS test (practice material provided)
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting multiple managers
- Prior utility or corporate office experience
