A rapidly-growing public accounting and professional services firm in Washington, PA, is seeking to hire an administrative assistant to work directly with its ambitious principal, support staff, and clientele. The position offers a friendly, laid-back, and professional work environment.The successful candidate shall:• Be considered a full-time employee• Be eligible for bonuses and salary increases based on the firm's growth• Be eligible to receive employer-provided health insurance• Be available to begin employment December 2025 / January 2026The job duties include:• Corresponding in a friendly manner with existing and prospective clients (via phone and email)• Maintaining accurate, complete, and organized client records/files and tax documents (scanning, labeling, copying, filing, faxing, etc.)• Having excellent typing skills, including drafting and editing documents• Maintaining high attention to detail to accurately proofread and edit documents• Researching specific topics and matters using the internet and printed materials• Assisting principal with day-to-day firm operations• Answering phones, taking messages, and fielding client/caller questions• Data entry into MS Excel, tax software, etc.• Marketing the firm via mailings, social media, and email• Bookkeeping and light accounting tasks• Preparing letters and packages for mailing• Working independently under minimal supervision (at times)• Scheduling meetings, conference calls, etc.• Maintaining appearance of the office• Performing miscellaneous tasks (making trips to the nearby bank and post office, etc.)A qualified candidate shall:• Have a positive attitude and friendly personality• Be detail-oriented and organized• Be courteous and work in a professional manner• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook (knowledge of PowerPoint and Publisher a plus)• Communicate well and use proper grammar (e.g., you're, your, etc.)• Be hardworking, reliable, and loyal• Be able to offer fresh ideas and input• Be enthusiastic to learn and undertake new tasks• Have a valid driver's license and dependable vehicleRequirements include:• Experience with generally accepted secretarial, clerical, and professional office practices and proceduresPrior experience of working at a professional services firm or oil & gas industry is a plus.Please forward résumé, full contact information, and compensation request if interested.Thank you!
