Job Title: Supply Chain Buyer
Location: Mount Pleasant, PA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 months (possible extension up to 12 months)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overview
Seeking a Supply Chain Buyer with 3–5 years of experience in procurement, fulfillment, and inventory planning. The role focuses on purchase order execution, supplier coordination, material availability, and inventory optimization in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue purchase orders and manage end-to-end procurement activities
- Analyze pricing and support supplier negotiations
- Track orders, expedite materials, and ensure on-time delivery (OTD)
- Respond to RFQs and support sales/production timelines
- Create and manage procurement plans aligned with demand
- Maintain material master data and inventory levels in SAP
- Monitor safety stock and ensure material availability
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on material status
- Support supplier onboarding and resolve supplier issues
- Manage GRIR, invoicing, and payment follow-ups
- Track KPIs and support monthly reporting
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement/buyer role (fulfillment/material planning/inventory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Strong understanding of procurement, planning, and logistics processes
- Hands-on experience with SAP
