SALARY: Dependent on years of teaching experience, certification, and
Highly Qualified status - Salary scale starting at $43,044
Eligible school for Teacher Loan Forgiveness
Merit Pay

Tuition Reimbursement per CEA Contract
AVAILABLE: 2025-2026 School Year
CERTIFICATION: Valid Secondary Michigan Teaching Certificate and
Highly Qualified to teach Spanish
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly Qualified in Spanish
Experience with ESL programming
Ability to work with middle school and high school students
Experience with addressing the needs of students of all ability levels
Experience in differentiated instruction
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach classes in the Spanish Department
Ability to teach approved Spanish curriculum
Provide effective Spanish instruction to first through fourth year students
Conduct classes using Spanish as the primary language
Support Multilingual learners
Administer the WIDA
Manage classroom as described in "Essential Job Functions"
Participate in curriculum and school improvement committees
Champion and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
Perform essential job functions as specified
Other duties as assigned by administration
