Production Material Handler III

Location: Carmel, IN

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $26.00 / hour (W2)

Job Term: 6-Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Production Material Handler III to join our team in Carmel, IN. Under limited supervision, you will oversee material flow, warehouse inventory, and shipping/receiving operations within our manufacturing area. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing inventory logs, operating material handling equipment, and regulating warehouse space to ensure continuous, uninterrupted production.

• Material Movement & Production Support: Maintain and direct the flow of raw materials, components, and finished goods across manufacturing units in compliance with established guidelines.

• Warehouse & Inventory Administration: Oversee the receipt, packaging, storage, and processing of all warehouse supplies, tools, and equipment.

• Shipping & Receiving Operations: Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules, audit incoming shipments against documentation, and organize space utilization to optimize warehouse capacity.

• Inventory Accuracy & Documentation: Track material movements in internal data tracking tools, maintain accurate material logs, and perform inventory audits to prevent material discrepancies.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to move goods safely throughout the facility.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of material handling, warehouse, or logistics experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Procedural Knowledge: Strong background following structured standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

• Equipment & Technical Skills: Experience operating motorized material handling equipment; proficiency with inventory tracking systems and Microsoft Excel preferred.

• Physical & Operational Capability: Ability to lift, transport, and arrange warehouse materials efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and practical experience.
