The Opportunity
Autonomous delivery is scaling rapidly, and we need a versatile, proactive Robot Service Technician to anchor our production, maintenance, and field operations in Bowling Green.
This is not a stagnant assembly line job. You will split your time between a hands-on workshop environment—building and repairing a fleet of self-driving delivery robots—and the local field, ensuring our fleet stays online and operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Production & Precision Assembly: Assemble custom wiring harnesses, connectors, and cables. Professionally install and replace high-tech sensor arrays, including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Fleet Maintenance & Diagnostics: Perform preventative maintenance and rapid diagnostic repairs on robotic fleets. Root-cause electrical and mechanical breakdowns, including battery systems and suspensions.
- Field Support & R&D: Travel locally to provide rapid deployment and field support. Assist engineering teams with rapid prototyping, hardware testing, and localized inventory control.
- Physical & Driving Requirements: Ability to safely lift and maneuver items exceeding 50 pounds. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a completely clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 12 consecutive months.
What You Bring to the Team
- Background: Proven experience in an automotive plant, dealership service center, or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency reading 2D mechanical drawings, handling AC/DC currents, and utilizing advanced computer applications. High comfort level with mechanical/electrical assembly tools (soldering skills are a massive plus).
- Mindset: A structured, logical approach to diagnosing problems, high attention to detail, and the adaptability to pivot between workshop tasks and field operations.
Our Hiring Process
- Video Interview: A streamlined technical and behavioral interview via Google Meet directly with our Operations Lead, Evgeny.
- Offer Stage: Successful candidates will move quickly from the interview to onboarding.
