CTG is seeking to fill a Document Custodian Reviewer opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 1 month
Overview
The Document Custodian Reviewer conducts entry-level reviews of Institutional client documents, verifies data accuracy, and identifies exceptions in accordance with established custodial guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review and match document data to the Document Custody tracking system.
- Identify originals vs. copies and update system records.
- Apply standard review criteria and document exceptions.
- Adhere to risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.
- Escalate risk issues and support audit and compliance requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Scope of Responsibilities
Supports document custody operations by ensuring accurate, compliant, and complete file reviews.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities
None.
Education and Experience Required
- Associate degree, or a combined minimum of 2 years of education/work experience.
- Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and solid alpha/numeric accuracy.
Education and Experience Preferred
- Ability to work accurately under tight time constraints.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders/stools, bend for filing, and stand for extended periods.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
