This platform enables internal developers to build AI-driven applications safely, efficiently, and at scale. This role functions as a true Product Manager, responsible for product strategy, requirements, developer enablement, documentation, and outcomes tied to platform adoption.

Location: Orlando, FL
Contract: W2 only, Up to 22 months, 4 days/week onsite (must be willing to be onsite at least four (4) days per week; onsite expectations subject to change)
Pay: $65-75/hour optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
Overview
This position supports the development and enhancement of an internal AI Platform, focusing on product ownership, developer workflows, and GenAI enablement within a collaborative environment. The Product Manager will define and prioritize features, advocate for developer needs, and ensure successful platform adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition, prioritization, and delivery of features across AI platform domains such as Core API, Developer Experience, Observability, Knowledge Integrations, and Agent Ecosystem.
- Define product requirements, epics, and user stories translating internal developer and business needs into technical outcomes.
- Partner with data and AI engineers to design and scale retrieval and knowledge base integrations, enabling RAG capabilities across systems.
- Define and track platform metrics including time to first POC, developer adoption, latency, reliability, and observability coverage.
- Lead roadmap planning, sprint prioritization, and cross-functional alignment with product, data, and architecture teams.
- Drive platform documentation, onboarding, and developer enablement in collaboration with DevRel and product enablement teams.
- Communicate platform value, updates, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure high-impact initiatives stay on track.
- Champion developer empathy, balancing platform performance, usability, and governance requirements.
- Ensure platform features are designed for scalability, security, and operational excellence to support AI use cases.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; Master’s preferred.
- 6 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Technical Program Management for developer platforms, APIs, or data ecosystems.
- Strong technical fluency, including API specifications, SDK architectures, data pipelines, telemetry stacks, and AI infrastructure.
- Proven success delivering platform capabilities such as APIs, SDKs, observability, or data integrations in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts like embeddings, vector databases, model serving platforms, evaluation benchmarks, and agents.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering and data teams managing dependencies and delivering complex initiatives.
- Deep understanding of Agile practices with a focus on execution and outcomes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear, prioritized roadmaps.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with observability stacks (OpenTelemetry) or telemetry-driven product development.
- Familiarity with AI/ML developer tools, protocols, and SDKs (e.g., LangChain, Autogen, Vertex AI, MCP, A2A).
- Background in developer experience or platform enablement focused on productivity.
- Knowledge of governance and security frameworks for enterprise AI systems.
- Experience working within large, matrixed organizations partnering across multiple teams.
