Junior IT Help Desk Support
Location: Coraopolis, PA
Contract: W2 only
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Duration: 6?month contract
What You’ll Do
- Help employees and store locations with basic IT issues
- Support computers and devices, including:
- Windows PCs and MacBooks
- Printers and basic networking
- Servers and imaging services
- Support retail technology such as:
- Registers
- Pin pads
- Handheld devices
- Help users with common issues like:
- Password resets (Active Directory)
- Multi?factor authentication
- VPN access
- Use a ticketing system to log, track, and resolve support requests
- Write simple documentation and support notes
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and stay calm in busy or stressful situations
- Training:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Lasts about 4–6 weeks
- Service Desk hours:
- Monday–Saturday: 6:00 AM–1:00 AM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Shifts vary within these hours and may include:
- Sunday–Thursday or
- Tuesday–Saturday
- Work location depends on your shift start time:
- Shifts starting before 11:00 AM:
- Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Remote on other days
- Shifts starting at 11:00 AM or later:
- Fully remote
- Shifts starting before 11:00 AM:
- Basic IT or technical support experience
- Comfortable working with computers, devices, and software
- Experience using or learning ticketing systems
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexible with shift schedules
