Key Responsibilities
- Perform field-based construction quality audits (coax & fiber) on nodes, amps, power supplies, taps, enclosures, and related plant
- Oversee overhead and underground construction work; ensure all work meets client and local/state/federal standards
- Serve as day-to-day field contact for contractors and liaison to Network Technicians (NGAN)
- Update and QC job documentation in JT / Polaris, including path verification
- Verify power supplies are installed and operational prior to cut dates
- Track and document audit results, rework, materials, labor, and closeout reporting
- Enforce safety standards and perform regular job site inspections
- Coordinate issue resolution, customer complaints, and handoff of completed work to Operations
Must-Have Skills & Requirements
- Coax and fiber construction experience required
- Construction auditing / inspection experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read design prints and construction documentation
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft tools, Smartsheets, Teams; daily usage)
- Network Maintenance Technician experience a plus
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- Available M–F 8am–5pm via phone; occasional nights/weekends as needed
- Independent, self-directed worker; team is geographically distributed
