Position Overview:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, expanding existing accounts, and promoting a portfolio of data communication and networking products such as structured cabling, fiber optic systems, network hardware, wireless solutions, and related technologies. This role requires a blend of relationship-building, technical understanding, and strategic sales execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory or vertical markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with integrators, contractors, distributors, and end-users
- Present and promote networking and data communication solutions to customers
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales forecasts
- Work collaboratively with engineering, product management, and support teams
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Qualifications:
- Experience in data communications, networking, low-voltage infrastructure, or related technology sales preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand network architecture and cabling solutions
- Proven track record in B2B sales
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to exceed goals
- Ability to travel as needed
