Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior M&A Cyber Technical Program Manager to lead cybersecurity initiatives within mergers and acquisitions programs. This role focuses on managing the full project lifecycle—from due diligence through integration and post-deal execution—while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and security requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cybersecurity program management, M&A environments, and cross-functional leadership, with the ability to drive complex projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end cybersecurity M&A programs, including planning, due diligence, integration, and post-deal execution
Develop program strategies, gather requirements, and oversee design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks throughout the project lifecycle
Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business, IT, compliance, and external partners
Lead change management efforts, including communication, training, and documentation
Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and financial tracking
Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and performance to leadership
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance
Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance requirements
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within cybersecurity program delivery
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field
10+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years in IT roles
Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity project or program management
Proven experience managing cybersecurity programs within M&A environments
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST/NICE
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, large-scale projects
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing budgets, resources, and project financials
Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant field
Experience working in large enterprise environments
Strong experience in change management and organizational transformation initiatives
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Certifications (If Any)
PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred
