Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiovascular Technician to join our healthcare team. The role involves utilizing specialized equipment, assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures, and supporting physicians in providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Diagnostic Support :
Operate electrocardiography (EKG) and other diagnostic equipment to monitor and record heart or blood vessel activity.
Prepare patients for EKG tests and other cardiovascular diagnostic procedures.
Record and archive diagnostic data for physicians’ analysis and relay findings to patients.
Procedural Assistance :
Assist doctors during procedures, including the insertion of catheters into the heart.
Measure and administer special fluids as part of diagnostic or treatment protocols.
Ensure smooth workflow during procedures by managing supplies and sterile consumables.
Equipment Maintenance :
Maintain and manage technical equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
Sterilize and prepare consumables and manage inventory to support efficient operations.
Patient Interaction :
Take patient medical histories and provide information about upcoming procedures.
Assist in preparing patients physically and mentally for tests or treatments.
Administrative Tasks :
Archive clinical data accurately and ensure secure storage.
Maintain records of diagnostic procedures and manage related documentation.
Qualifications :
Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and diagnostic procedures.
Proficiency with EKG equipment and other diagnostic tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Attention to detail for accurate data recording and equipment management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, clinical environment and maintain a patient-centered approach.
