Android Developer (Team Lead) – Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite Hybrid, so need local)
You’ll be responsible for leading a team of 4 Android developers in Salt Lake City — focusing on leadership, mentorship, code review, architecture/design, and communication excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Android developers; mentor, coach, and conduct code reviews.
- Design and build high-quality Android applications using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin.
- Contribute to omni-channel digital experiences across mobile and web.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams.
- Guide your team through the full development lifecycle — from concept to deployment.
- Drive technical excellence, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Must Haves
- Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring Android development teams.
- Expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android Studio.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Hands-on experience in code reviews and architectural decision-making.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in Enterprise-scale application environments.
- Background in Financial Services is a plus.
