Job SummaryThe Scrum Master – II supports network operations and infrastructure teams in adopting Agile and Kanban practices. This role focuses on guiding teams through Agile maturity, improving delivery flow, and enabling operational agility within environments that handle high-severity incidents and unplanned work. The Scrum Master is responsible for implementing and optimizing Kanban workflows, facilitating Agile ceremonies, promoting continuous improvement, and providing visibility into work processes through Jira Software and Jira Align.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the adoption of Agile and Kanban practices within a network operations team transitioning from traditional delivery models.Design and optimize Kanban workflows aligned with incident response, change management, and operational support processes.Facilitate Agile ceremonies relevant to operational environments, including stand-ups, retrospectives, service delivery reviews, and backlog refinement.Guide teams in managing high-severity incidents, recovery efforts, maintenance windows, and emergency changes while maintaining stable workflow practices.Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, flow-based delivery, Lean practices, and operational agility.Partner with leadership to align team objectives with organizational goals using Jira Align.Implement and track operational metrics including cycle time, lead time, throughput, aging work, and capacity.Support the team in managing unplanned work without disrupting overall commitments.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-paced operational environment.Ensure effective use of Jira Software and Jira Align for work visibility, prioritization, dependency tracking, and reporting.Identify process bottlenecks and support continuous improvement to enhance response and recovery times.Collaborate with cross-functional partners across network, infrastructure, and production support teams to improve coordination and delivery.Required Qualifications3–6 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.Experience leading Agile transformations in operational, infrastructure, or production support environments.Experience supporting network operations teams and familiarity with networking concepts (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers preferred).Strong knowledge of flow-based systems, Kanban, and Lean practices.Experience implementing Agile practices for teams new to Agile methodologies.Hands-on experience with Jira Software and Jira Align, including workflows, backlog management, metrics, and reporting.Experience working within scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe or similar).Ability to coach teams through Agile maturity, continuous improvement, and delivery sustainability.Strong understanding of incident management, operational risk, and high-severity event coordination.Preferred experience supporting network, infrastructure, or IT operations teams.Agile certifications preferred (CSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, ICA-ACC, or equivalent).Education: Bachelors DegreeCertification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) , Certified Scrum Professional , Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner , ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching , Agile Company DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
