Job Title: Image Analysis Scientist (Digital Pathology)

Location: Ridgefield, CT

Duration: 24 Months

Job Summary:

• Develop and optimize image analysis pipelines for 2D and 3D biomedical images.
• Perform quantitative analysis of histology, IHC, IF, and multiplex imaging data.
• Apply classical image processing and machine learning methods for feature extraction, segmentation, and classification. Including integration of multiple image analysis platforms (e.g., HALO, Visiopharm, QuPath).
• Collaborate with pathologists, biologists, and data scientists to define analytical endpoints.
• Validate image derived biomarkers and ensure analytical rigor.

Skills:

• Proficient in scientific programming languages (R, Python) and have experience applying machine learning techniques, preferably in pathology images (H&E/IHC/mIF).
• Extensive experience applying machine learning techniques
• Experience in cell image analysis and marker quantification from multiplex IHC for digital pathology.
• Experience with some of these image analysis tools (e.g., HALO AI, Visiopharm, QuPath, CellProfiler).

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with three-plus (3 ) years of experience in related scientific discipline or master’s degree from an accredited institution in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience in related field.
