What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regulatory Reporting Analyst position at Compunnel Inc.?
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the review and preparation of U.S. Banks’ regulatory reports, including FFIEC 031 (Call Report), FR2900, FR2644, and FRY-8, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that complete and auditable documentation exists to support all submitted reports.
- Collaborate with the FSS Mumbai Regulatory Reporting team to support finance data automation initiatives and system implementations.
- Review and research updates to regulatory reporting instructions and requirements, assessing their impact on existing reporting processes.
- Partner with service providers and process owners (including Business Unit Controllers, Operations, Trading Desks, and Finance Shared Services) to gather and validate reporting data.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and requests, including audit support, management presentations, and responses to accounting or regulatory inquiries.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment, performing due diligence and ensuring proper documentation of policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in financial or regulatory reporting.
- Strong background in Bank Regulatory Reporting.
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
