Registered Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a Temporary Registered Nurse to join our Burlington Urgent Care team from July through February. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and adaptable RN with a strong background in IV administration and triage. This is a full-time, temporary position requiring 40 hours per week, including weekend availability.

*This schedule is non negotiable, must be available for a 7 day rotation*

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced urgent care setting
• Perform IV insertions and administer medications as prescribed
• Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient care based on acuity
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the healthcare team
• Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures
• Educate patients on treatment plans, prescriptions, and discharge instructions
• Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions in the EMR
• Ensure adherence to infection control and urgent care protocols
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an urgent care, emergency department, or similar clinical setting
• Proficient in IV therapy and triage processes
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous urgent care or emergency room experience preferred
  
  

Certifications (Required)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
  
  

Schedule

• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Clinic Hours:
• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, is required
  
  

Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
