Pharmacist

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Key Responsibilities Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosages. Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriateness and safety. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and inventory. Monitor for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies. Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations. Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience in patient education and counseling. Certifications Active Pharmacist license (required). Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or other specialty (preferred). Note - Travel Experience required Education: Doctoral Degree
