Job SummaryResponsible for supporting distributed computing and telecommunications network operations and procedures. This role ensures uninterrupted availability and smooth operation of computer systems, workstations, peripheral equipment, networks, and communications infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for computer systems, workstations, and peripheral equipment.Maintain and troubleshoot networks and communications equipment.Perform basic programming, documentation, and testing tasks.Assist users with software and hardware requirements.Monitor and manage the performance of LAN environments.Apply policies, practices, and tools to protect the security of data and information systems.Diagnose and resolve simple network server issues.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Technical training in computer operations, programming, documentation, and testing.Knowledge of computer hardware and software.Understanding of transmission, signaling, switching, and routing components used in communications networks.Ability to solve basic network server problems and manage LAN performance.Preferred Qualifications (if any)Prior experience in network support or IT helpdesk roles.Familiarity with enterprise-level networking tools and monitoring systems.Certifications (if any)CompTIA Network or equivalent certification preferred.Other relevant IT/networking certifications are a plus.Education: Bachelors DegreeCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
