🚀 About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join an early-stage mechanical equipment design team focused on advanced web conveyance (roll-to-roll) systems.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll contribute to the design, modification, and development of complex equipment used in high-performance environments.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical equipment and systems
- Work on roll-to-roll (web conveyance) systems, including unwind/rewind mechanisms
- Modify and improve existing equipment for performance and efficiency
- Select materials and components for high-temperature environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design and implementation
- Create and maintain detailed CAD models and engineering documentation
✅ Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical/equipment design
- Strong experience in machine or equipment design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with roll-to-roll / web handling systems
- Knowledge of thermal systems and material selection for high-temperature environments
- Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
- Familiarity with EPDM Vault
