Job Summary
The key responsibilities of this role include inspecting, cutting, staging, and laying up various types of rolls. The successful candidate will also operate large and small rolling mills, continuous hydrogen furnaces, and vacuum furnaces.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Inspect, cut, stage, unstaged, and lay-up Dynalloy, Fibermet, and continuous media rolls.
- Operate large and small rolling mills, continuous Hydrogen furnaces, and Vacuum furnaces.
- Inspect, trim, and package media products according to specifications.
- Read and follow complex work procedures, schematics, or receive verbal instructions for tasks.
- Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve product quality and process efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
- Ensure adherence to EHS regulations, including wearing required PPE.
- Complete all necessary equipment maintenance in the assigned area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent, or 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to communicate, receive, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.
