Job Summary
The Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for Emerging Markets will be responsible for driving new business growth by establishing partnerships with local and regional restaurants in untapped markets. This field sales role requires extensive travel within the assigned territory and focuses on building Cleint footprint in emerging and rural areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to emerging markets and expand Client presence in rural and untapped regions.
- Sell restaurant owners on the value of partnering with Cleint and negotiate revenue share agreements.
- Manage a fast-paced, transactional deal cycle and close new business within days.
- Coordinate with a Regional Sales Manager to leverage market insights, sales tools, and partnership information.
- Conduct face-to-face transactions and maintain compliance with company travel policies.
Required Qualifications
- 2.5 years of sales experience in a closing role or related field.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, including overnight stays and long-distance travel.
- Strong skills in both inside and outside sales tactics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build scalable strategies and playbooks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in field sales within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
- Proven success in developing new markets or territories.
