Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative III serves as a critical liaison between customers, sales, and operations teams, representing Client as the first point of contact. This role maintains ongoing relationships with multiple customers and sales teams across one or more plants, ensuring smooth order processing, production planning, logistics, and inventory management. The position requires strong communication, data analysis, and organizational skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and validate new item specifications and projects.
- Manage complex accounts by processing orders, scheduling demand, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Track order activity and inventory levels, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Handle outside purchases for services and materials required for customer projects.
- Produce reports and share data with customers.
- Support the Quality Manager in researching and troubleshooting customer quality issues.
- Collaborate with sales, credit analysts, collections, production, shipping, and plant leadership to ensure responsiveness and alignment with company goals.
- Provide guidance and training to junior employees.
- Serve as a pre-pricing specialist to build customer specifications and review with production teams.
Required Qualifications
- Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong data entry and data analysis skills.
- Ability to read and write in English with clear communication.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in following established processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
