Job Title: Chemical Compounder

Duration: 06 Months Contract

Location: Somerset, NJ 08873

Shift: Monday – Friday; SECOND SHIFT; 2PM-10:30PM

Pay Rate: $26/hr on W2 (all inclusive)

Job Summary:

• Identifies, prioritizes and imports batches to be produced on Fricke automated filling equipment. Works with support team as necessary to resolve software issues and ensure efficient operation of equipment.
• With a good understanding of the Automation Batch Management System (BMS) system, identify split batches or split the batches manually as needed between the (3) Fricke filling systems: Multi cluster, Dosing Cluster and Manual Filling station.
• Operates and monitors the mechanical performance of the automated filling system during assigned shift including: Prints barcode labels and staging finished batches for completion by compounders.
• Advises compounders of the specifics of the batches coming from automation on the size, priority and how many pots.
• Identifies raw materials needing replenishing (stock alarms), removes empty drum and installs/connects new drum on the mezzanine level.
• Ensures that equipment is in good working order and advises supervisor of any operating issues/malfunctions and ensures proper cleaning of equipment daily.

Top Skills:

• Operate department pumps, filters, scales and computer systems in order to accurately and properly blend chemicals in a precise manner to create flavor or fragrance product.
• Utilize a computer to obtain detailed formula information and availability of raw materials, post batches, check inventory and print labels.
• Ensure understanding of all safety, quality and operational procedures, in order to utilize tools, equipment, electronic/computer systems in compounding and container filling

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Forklift not required but preferred
