What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Clerk position at Compunetix?
Compunetics is seeking an individual needed to manage the day-to-day operations of our shipping and receiving department.
Responsibilities:
- Package outbound materials for shipment
- Prepare shipping labels using shipping software
- Unload/receive packages at dock either manually or with a forklift
- Unpack packages and verify/inspect contents
- Prepare receiving papers
- Deliver product to designated area or recipient
- Perform daily inventory cycle counts
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Shipping/Receiving experience
- Shipping and receiving software (UPS/FedEx)
- Cycle Counting experience
- Forklift Operator experience preferred
- Experience with Bill of Lading
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Good computer skills including Excel/Word, ERP experience a plus
9/80 Work Schedule; Hours: 7:30am-5:00pm
