We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions, including ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and federal contractor regulations while supporting organizational objectives and fostering a compliant, high-performing workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Lead/manage HR functions/staff, policy administration, compensation & benefits, leaves/absences, federal compliance, and talent acquisition
- Update employee handbook
- Provide guidance on employee conduct
- Oversee FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and OFCCP compliance
- Quality Management System alignment
- Event planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, master’s and/or technical discipline a plus
- 5-8 years’ experience in an HR management role, preferably in a federal contracting environment
- Experience with technical/manufacturing recruiting
- Experience with compensation and benefits required
- Multi-state or international experience preferred
- Position regularly requires independent judgement and discretion
- Strong knowledge of employment laws/regulations
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills and attention-to-detail
- Ability to lift up to 10lbs.
