Job Description
We are seeking an experienced OMS Sterling QA Lead with strong expertise in IBM Sterling OMS and Retail/E-Commerce domain. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end QA activities including functional, integration, API, and automation testing across Order Management and fulfillment systems.
The candidate should possess strong experience in Agile environments and be capable of coordinating with business, development, and offshore QA teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA activities for IBM Sterling OMS implementations and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Perform end-to-end testing across:
- Order Capture
- Order Fulfillment
- Inventory Management
- Shipping
- Returns
- Store Pickup / BOPIS
- Validate integrations between Sterling OMS and:
- POS
- WMS
- SAP
- Payment gateways
- E-commerce platforms
- Perform API testing using Postman/SOAP UI/RestAssured.
- Execute backend validation using SQL queries.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, Regression, and Production validation testing.
- Lead defect triage meetings and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
- Support CI/CD and automation initiatives in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Mentor junior QA team members and provide QA leadership.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and offshore teams.
