Overview
The CyberArk Business Analyst serves as the strategic liaison between business stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, and technical engineering resources. This role focuses on gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring that CyberArk s Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions are aligned with business needs, compliance standards, and enterprise security strategies. The analyst plays a key role in program governance, project coordination, and operational optimization for CyberArk capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Engage with business units and technical teams to understand privileged access use cases and translate them into functional requirements.
- Document currentstate and futurestate workflows for identity, access, and privilege management.
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to define onboarding requirements for applications, accounts, safes, and access patterns.
CyberArk Program Support
- Collaborate with CyberArk Engineers and Security Architects to design and validate PAM solutions.
- Develop comprehensive business and functional documentation, including user stories, process flows, BRDs, and acceptance criteria.
- Support platform governance by participating in roadmap development, capability assessments, and process improvements.
- Maintain the CyberArk onboarding pipeline, ensuring prioritization, status tracking, and stakeholder updates.
Operational Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze privileged access data to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation.
- Support policy creation for credential rotation, session monitoring, access control, and lifecycle management.
- Review audit findings and help drive remediation activities related to privileged access.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for CyberArk program effectiveness.
Stakeholder & Change Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams and business/application owners.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on CyberArk standards, onboarding processes, and best practices.
- Support change management activities, including communication plans, user training, and operational readiness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years experience in IAM/PAM programs, cybersecurity
- Strong understanding of:
- Identity & Access Management concepts
- Privileged Access Management fundamentals
- IT audit, compliance, and risk management
- Windows, Linux, AD/LDAP environments
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholderengagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with CyberArk PAS components (Vault, PVWA, CPM, PSM).
- Experience working directly with CyberArk Privilege cloud solution.
- Familiarity with cloud access models (AWS, Azure).
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow, or similar workflow tools like Jira.
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Grafana
- CyberArk or IAMrelated certifications must.
